Abstract :
The seventh and eighth centuries are very important in the history of Iran due to the important event of this period, the devastating Mongol invasion. In this period, we see many changes in various social, cultural and artistic fields under the influence of the Mongol rulers in Iran. Poetry and prose in this period, as one of the main branches of art, were no exception to these changes and underwent many changes and developments. Complaints have existed in the works of poets and writers since the beginning of the formation of Persian poetry. So that complaint can be considered as one of the important types of literature - from the sub-branches of lyrical literature. In the complaint, the poet or writer expresses the misfortunes of life and complains about the times, luck, old age and disability, the beloved, social and political disorders, and so on. . In this article, by examining the prose texts of the seventh and eighth centuries, he has examined the manner of expressing the complaint and the extent to which the description of the complaint in the seventh and eighth centuries has been applied. What was found during this study was that personal grievances were more frequent in the seventh and eighth centuries, and most grievances during these two centuries were expressed in grievances of fate and destiny.
