Abstract :

Introduction and Objective:This study intends to promote cultural intelligence components of municipal managers in cultural interaction with citizens to explain and guidelines to improve behavioral dimensions provide managers with citizens. Method: This study is an applied research and the methods of carrying out a descriptive, analytical and data using documentary (library) and survey-were collected. Findings: Examination of the relationships between the four dimensions of cultural intelligence, the results indicates a significant relationship between the cultural intelligence strategy with later behavioral and motivational cultural intelligence. It was also found to influence the cultural intelligence on task performance arising from the dimensions of cultural intelligence is knowledge and behavior. Conclusion:The results show that cognitive and metacognitive factors have a great impact in promoting cultural intelligence urban managers.
