Abstract :
Denmark is one of the leading countries in the utilization of the Internet of Things. This study analyzes the socio-economic impacts of the Internet of Things in Denmark. The research method is documentary analysis and we investigated in documents, articles and reports published in Denmark. The results show that the Internet of Things has led to the realization of sustainable development goals in various areas of urban, health, education, transportation and etc. In the social field, in general, there has been an increase in the life quality and education and digital literacy, more valuable job opportunities, improvement the health services, and smart care. And, of course, there are important challenges and concerns regarding ethical issues, privacy, data protection and etc. in this regard, legal frameworks must be considered to address them. In the economic field, the study of documents shows the change of business model, increasing productivity, creating new business opportunities and presence in global markets, and the growth of the national economy.
