Explain the role of virtual social networks in the economic behavior of Tehran citizens in the post-sanctions period

Abstract :
This study seeks to analyze the effects of cyberspace on the economic behaviors of Tehran citizens in the post-sanctions period (the first 6 months of 1397) using the concepts of virtual network and economic behavior. The type of this research is applied and the main method is survey. The statistical population consists of citizens over the age of 20 in Tehran and were selected and studied by cluster sampling. The data collection tool was a questionnaire. The reliability of the data collection tool was determined by Cronbach's alpha coefficient and its validity was determined by content validity (expert validity) through CVR index or Lauche coefficient. The results show that economic behavior, which is a dependent variable and has the dimensions of economic orientation, economic action and economic cognition, has been moderately downward. Economic orientation, economic action and economic cognition of the studied citizens are moderately downward. The relationship between cyberspace usage and economic behavior, economic action, economic orientation has been significant and the researcher hypothesis is confirmed, but the relationship between cyberspace usage and economic knowledge is not significant and the researcher hypothesis is not confirmed. The number of visits to blogs, the number of visits to forums and the rate of visits to wikis have a direct impact on economic behavior. The number of visits to blogs, the rate of visits to microblogs and the rate of visits to forums have a direct impact on economic action.
