Abstract :
Social development is a concept that has recently been taken seriously by policymakers, especially urban managers. This research was conducted to identify the relationship between social development and social health. The statistical population of the study is all citizens living in Tehran. The research sampling method is multistage cluster type. The purpose of this research is application of the purpose which was performed by scrolling method. The sample size of the research is 400 people. This figure was determined based on the Morgan table. According to the findings of the research in the documentary review section, the level of social development was calculated based on indicators such as quality of life, social consensus, social development ethics and social security. Social health was measured based on social flourishing indicators, social participation, social cohesion, social adaptation and social acceptance. The research data were questionnaire based on 120 questionnaires. Research findings show that social development level and indicators have strong correlation with social health. Regarding to the fact that the analysis of the research findings was of structural equation modeling, statistical processing was performed by Lisrel software.
