A comparative study of cultural policies in Iran and Italy in the field of cultural industries, tourism and arts

Abstract :
Introduction and Objective: Acquaintance of the content of cultural policies andprograms in other countries in order to correct decisions is necessary to promoteand preserve the culture. Today, cultural management regardless of other countries'cultural policies and its impact on indigenous culture and ignoring environmentalconditions not strategic approach and never can access to ultimate goal of culturalfrom this way. Purpose of this study, is refers to the cultural similarities overlappingand Iran and Italy, both of which have several thousand years of history and culturalbackground.Method: Method of this research is "content analysis". Recording unit for contentanalysis is Topics and Objectives; and for lexical analysis, is the word. For recording,comparing and evaluating data for this research was used checklist tool. Alldocuments related to the tourism and cultural policies in Iran and Italy as thePopulation of this research collected by study in the library documents.Results: generally, by looking at the overall Policies of the Iranian culture and theItalian is determined that Iran has five general objectives of cultural policy thattotally, 25 general practices and 7 practical means to achieve them are anticipated;and Italy has six general objectives of cultural policy that totally, 38 general practicesand 23 practical means to achieve them are anticipated. In this study, four basinscontent of cultural policies, cultural industries, tourism and the arts in general andpractical approaches are compared.Conclusions: The results indicate that Iran and Italy in four basins content of culturalpolicies, cultural industries, tourism and arts and the principles and policies aregenerally high overlap and In practical guidelines field have very different and inmany cases, the similarity of these two in these areas is average and below average.
