Abstract :
This research aims to assay the role of story telling at the Intellectual NurturingCenter of Kids & Teenagers (Kanoune Parvareshe Fekriye Koudakan va Nojavanan orKPF) on protecting and strengthening their cultural identity amongst the instructors.Questionnaires were handed out and the research was done through the descriptiveresearch method. The researcher has initially defined culture, identity and variousviewpoints of cultural values; then, has studied the effect of mending cultural symbolsand social & geographical standards on culture formation and eventually studies howIran’s Culture and story telling has effected the extent of carrying and maintainingIran’s cultural heritage through generations. The results show that the researchhypotheses are correct and that the activities done by the Intellectual Nurturing Centerof Kids & Teenagers (KPF) positively affect their cultural identity by taking notice ofreligious beliefs, cultural values, legends, cultural heritage and cultural &geographical symbols.
