Influence of information technology on organizational trust with social engineering

Abstract :
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of IT on job security with the role of social engineering mediator in Mahmoud Abad Educational Sports Complex.Research method: The present research is applied in terms of the purpose and in terms of collecting data, a descriptive correlational type is used.Statistical population: The statistical population of the study was all employees of Mahmoud Abad sports complex, which number was 340 people. Using random stratified random sampling, 180 different parts of the complex were selected.Data collection method: The measurement tool of this study was based on the standard questionnaire for each of the research variables, which was created with a five-degree Likert scale. Content validity was used to determine the validity of the questionnaires and to determine the reliability of the questionnaire, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used.Results: Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data using LaserLevel software. The research findings showed that information technology has a positive and significant impact on job security and social engineering. There is also a positive and significant relationship between social engineering and job security. In general, the results of the structural equation test showed that social engineering has a mediating role in the impact of IT on job security.
