The Relationship Between Hospital Preparedness and The Quality of Medical Services in The Face of Covid-19 In Selected Hospitals of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences

Abstract :
Introduction: During the outbreak of diseases, hospitals have faced many challenges, such as the lack of hospital personnel, medical equipment and services, all of which make the effective management of the hospital difficult.
Methods: This research deals with theory testing with positivist paradigm and quantitative approach, with Applied research, it is analytical-descriptive and survey approach. A standard questionnaire was used to collect data. Sampling was done by a simple random method with a sample size of 203 people and 139 patients in the first hospital and 283 people and 186 patients in the second hospital. Pearson correlation test, linear regression test was used.
Results: According to the findings, at the 95% confidence level, the hospital's readiness with the quality of medical services in the face of Covid-19 has a significant relationship with a correlation coefficient of 0.755, and the results also showed that communication (0.748), patient care (0.466), capacity for unusual measures (0.673), human resources (0.801), logistics and supply (drugs, equipment) (0.383), essential support services (0.915), infection control and prevention (0.825), case management (0.729), monitoring (rapid warning and monitoring) (0.782), and laboratory services (0.622), have a significant relationship with the quality of medical services in selected hospitals of Medical Sciences.
Conclusion: According to the findings of the research, it seems that with the preparation of the hospital and its dimensions in the studied hospitals, it is possible to improve the quality of medical services in the face of covid-19.
