Abstract :
One of the favorite topics that has a long history in the accounting literature is profit forecasting. This research has been implemented with the aim of presenting a new model of profit forecasting with the approach of component analysis and comparing it with the profit forecast of financial analysts in companies admitted to the Tehran Stock Exchange. The research method is practical in terms of its purpose, and it is an inductive and quantitative research in terms of the implementation logic and the nature of the data. In order to collect data, basic financial statements were used in the period of 1390 to 1400. According to the results obtained from the analysis presented in this research, it can be seen that the new model provided for profit forecasting using profit forecasting components is more efficient than financial analysts' profit forecasting, and this is in addition to It also confirms the ability of regression models to predict profit in the financial fields and the profitability of price prediction strategy in Tehran Stock Exchange.
