Abstract :
The purpose of the research is to explain the role of new media in the identification of the members of the network society, which is the characteristic of the research, presenting the identity indicators of the new media, the research approach is a combination and the Delphi technique is used to identify the indicators of the new media and identity, and the model test. Exploratory and analysis of the mutual rate of these changes was done using the partial least squares technique .The statistical analysis tools smart pls version 3, IBM SPSS Statistics version 26 were used. Data collection was a combination of documentary and field methods in this way that the documentary method was used for the background of the research and the field method was used to collect information, but the basis of analysis And the analysis is the data collected using the Delphi method, and the measuring tool is a structured questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale and an online questionnaire. The statistical population in the qualitative section consists of journalists, professors of political science and communication, with a sample size of 15 people and in the quantitative section 60 people who were selected through virtual snowball sampling. The findings of the research showed that new media have a positive and significant effect on political identification. And this means that new media change the concept of identity and virtual space has changed the way of thinking and created a new world by influencing the way of thinking
