Abstract :
The managers could not work without a good relationship and communication skills to perform well . effective communication is one of the key elements of manager's success . In many ways, the role of communication in leadership could be studied. In different situations, content of communication is different.The aim of this study is to investigate some of the important characteristics of leadership of Imam Ali explaining the meaning management pattern in the sermons of Imam Ali in Nahj al-Balagha.Contains four elements of metaphor, innovative language, contrast and stories.This research is done with qualitative strategy and fundamental approach and content analysis method using packet inspection and pre-organized form .The results showed that Imam Ali in their communication process with the public and government officials utilizes all four meaning management approach and among them ,story element have been more applications.Keywords: communication, meaning management, leadership, Imam Ali , metaphor, innovative language,stories,constract.
