The average labor productivity of all industries is roughly constant before 1989, and hence, it has grown rapidly. However, both chemical and textile industries are faced with negative growths. The Mental and Food industries have the highest (12.3 mil. rials) and lowest (0.8 mil. rials) average partial capital productivities, respectively. In this respect, the average productivity for all industries is about 2.1 mil. rials. Most industries have been faced with growing productivities during the first Economic ad Social planning (1989-1993) with the Chemical industry as an exception has negative growth. Among industries, the Metal industry has the highest total factor productivity. The chemical and Textile industries stand in second and third positions
