Abstract :
One of the methods of great poets to increase awareness is storytelling. The best stories are those that are rooted in revelation because they are free from distortion and there is no doubt about their authenticity. If these stories are about divine ambassadors and prophets, they will be the best stories. Therefore, great poets have not neglected this basic principle and have benefited from Quranic stories in accordance with their knowledge and studies. They have introduced these deep and sublime concepts into the language of poetry and art and have given poetry an unseen and spiritual sanctity. Saadi also did not fail to benefit from this source of grace and used the Quran to explain the religious and moral concepts he intended, and adorned his works, especially ghazals, with Quranic stories. It is known that "a total of more than 1200 cases in the works of Saadi Shirazi have been referred to various Quranic stories." Therefore, this research aims to analyze, in a descriptive-analytical manner, the Quranic stories of the prophets that were cited by Saadi in his ghazals and to further reveal the glory of Saadi's works due to their possession of these sources of mercy. The statistical population is the Holy Quran and Saadi's ghazals, and the statistical sample is the Quranic examples of the lives of the prophets that are crystallized in Saadi's ghazals.
