Abstract :
This review study aims to explore the scientific literature on the role of cognitive reappraisal as an effective emotion regulation strategy and social support as an environmental factor facilitating psychological growth in the enhancement of psychological well-being. Considering the critical importance of these constructs in psychological interventions, the present study analyzes their interaction and the synergistic effect on indicators of well-being Method: This study was conducted using a narrative review of the existing literature. Findings and Conclusion: Available evidence indicates that individuals with stronger social support networks demonstrate greater proficiency in applying cognitive reappraisal strategies, which leads to elevated levels of psychological well-being. In essence, social support functions as a facilitating mechanism that enhances the effectiveness of cognitive approaches. Based on these findings, the development and implementation of integrated cognitive-social interventions across clinical, educational, and preventive domains appear essential. Such interventions can leverage both personal and social resources to improve the effectiveness of psychological treatments and foster long-term mental well-being.
