Abstract :
Introduction and Objective of the Research: Happiness, due to its major effects on the health and improvement of society, prepares humans for a better life and greater efficiency. Therefore, as long as citizens feel happy, they always put more effort into serving the city and the people of the society. Therefore, the overall objective of this research was to investigate the moderating role of sustainable income sources in the relationship between the implementation of electronic cities and smart cities on the happiness-seeking tendencies of Isfahan citizens.
Statistical population: To determine the sample size using the exponential gamma method using the Cohen formula, 90 residents of Isfahan were selected as samples based on the purposive non-random sampling method.
Research Method: The present study was adapted to the purpose of applied research and from the perspective of the method and nature within the framework of descriptive-analytical research, and also to collect data from the library and field methods with a questionnaire tool based on the Likert scale.
Research findings and results: The results of the research indicate that there is a significant relationship between the implementation of the electronic city and the hedonistic tendencies of citizens. In addition, there was a significant relationship between smartization and the hedonistic tendencies of citizens. The results also showed that the mediating role of smartization has a significant effect on the relationship between the implementation of the electronic city and hedonistic tendencies.
