Abstract :
abstract The purpose of this research is to compare coping styles and self-system (self-esteem, self-concept and social self-efficacy) among adolescents with leukemia, hemophilia and healthy. In this research, which was conducted using a causal-comparative method, The statistical sample includes a total of 110 people from three groups of people, in the age range of 12 to 15 years, including 30 teenagers with leukemia, 40 people with hemophilia, and 40 healthy teenagers who were selected by purposive sampling. Child and Adolescent Coping (CCBQ), Rosenberg's self-esteem, Lipsite's self-concept, and Kenley's adolescent social self-efficacy were used as work tools. The data was analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The results indicated that the three groups of leukemia, hemophilia and healthy are different in terms of coping styles; In this way, the mean of the two leukemia and hemophilia groups in the subscales of deviation from the problem and destructive coping is higher than the healthy group and in a way, these two groups use these coping styles more, and the healthy group also has a higher mean in the sub-scale of coping with the problem in order to improve it than the two sick groups, and as a result, this coping style They use it more. Also, the three groups have a significant difference in the self-esteem variable, and considering the higher average of the healthy group compared to the leukemia and hemophilia group, it can be concluded that the two patient groups have a lower level of self-esteem than the healthy group; In case, there was no significant difference between the three groups in the variable of self-concept. Among the subscales of self-efficacy, three groups have significant differences in the dimensions of social assertiveness and participation in social groups; Considering the higher average of the leukemia group than the hemophilia and healthy groups, it can be concluded that the leukemia group has more social assertiveness than the other two groups. In terms of participation in social groups, the group with leukemia and hemophilia had a higher average than the healthy group.
