Knowledge sharing methods based on social exchange theory (Case study: Employees of Ahvaz Electricity Distribution Company)

Abstract :
Purpose: This research was conducted with the aim of investigating knowledge sharing methods based on the theory of social exchange among the employees of Ahvaz Electricity Distribution Company.
Methodolog: This research is applied and of survey-descriptive type. The target population was all employees of Ahvaz electricity distribution company, 100 people were selected based Morgan's table, and finally 82 people answered the questionnaire completely. The research tool of Olaimi and Olaimi (2021) questionnaire was used. SPSS version 24 software was used for data analysis.
Findings: The findings of the research showed that according to the respondents, the frequency of knowledge sharing in the organization is mostly done on daily basis. The main channel of knowledge sharing is face-to-face interaction, and according to the respondents, the purpose of knowledge sharing in the target society is to further increase the efficiency and skills of employees (52 percent), the benefits of knowledge sharing are to obtain client satisfaction (79.2) and common challenges. Knowledge sharing more of negative attitude towards knowledge sharing among different departments of the organization (64/8).
Conclusion: Based on the overall findings of the study, knowledge sharing not only contributes to improving employee performance and efficiency, but also enhances service quality and increases customer satisfaction and loyalty. Therefore, organizations should implement appropriate programs and strategies for knowledge sharing within their institutions to benefit from these advantages and improve their competitiveness in the market.
