Investigation of the effect of industrial effluents of Chamestan Industrial Town, Punel Company on the water quality parameters of Lavij River

Abstract :
In this study, the effectiveness of the effluents of Chamestan Industrial Town and Ponell Company on the water quality parameters of the Lavij Road River was investigated. For this purpose, sampling was done. seasonally from four stations upstream, middle reaches, downstream and estuary of Lovej Road river in a one-year period coinciding with hot and low water and cold and rainy seasons and parameters such as EC, BOD5 , COD and TSS were measured, then the samples were digested and measured using the American standard method. The obtained data were analyzed by SPSS software. The results of the analysis of the samples taken show that the effluent of the Chamestan industrial town has led to the pollution of the Lavij River, because after the entry of the effluent of the industrial town, the pollution of the Lavich River changed and we witnessed the qualitative changes of the river water (increase PH, COD, BOD5, TSS and (EC.
So that the concentration of physical-chemical parameters of the river water is higher than the guidelines of the Environmental Protection Organization of Iran for the discharge of effluent to surface waters, and the effluent of Asphalt Tunnel Company due to seasonality. Being and being inactive had no effect on the pollution of the river.
