Abstract :
This research has been done with the aim of providing a model for the implementation of the supervisory role of secondary school principals in Wasit province of Iraq. The research method was descriptive-survey in terms of developmental goal and in terms of data collection method. The statistical population included all the principals of secondary schools in Wasit province of Iraq and university education specialists and professors, among whom 15 people were selected as a sample according to the principle of theoretical saturation, and with the help of semi-structured interviews, the data from these samples were collected. has been collected. By analyzing the content of interviews and extracting codes, the dimensions and components of the implementation of the supervisory role of secondary school principals in Wasit province of Iraq were identified. The process of triple open, central and selective coding of data has been done through MAXQDA software version 2020. The findings showed that at the end of the open coding process, 64 concepts were labeled. At the end of the open coding phase, the initial concepts were reviewed, analyzed and categorized to identify subcategories. Based on this, in axial coding, 20 subcategories were extracted from 64 open codes. Finally, in the selective coding stage, 7 main categories were identified that constitute the dimensions of the supervisory role model of secondary school principals. These dimensions include individual dimension, organizational dimension, environmental dimension, cultural dimension, technological dimension, characteristics of teachers and characteristics of parents.
