Abstract :
Abstract This research was conducted with the aim of predicting the intensity of perceived pain based on functional disability and endurance in patients with migraine headache . The research was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of the research included women suffering from migraine headaches who referred to private neurology clinics (Dr. Ferdowsi and Dr. Sadr) in Karaj city in 1401. Among them, 140 people were selected by available sampling and completed the research tools including self-handicapping questionnaire, resilience questionnaire and standard pain intensity questionnaire. Data analysis was done with descriptive statistics, correlation coefficient and multiple regression methods with SPSS-v26. The findings showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between functional disability and components of negative mood, lack of effort and making excuses with perceived pain intensity in migraine headache patients (P<0.05). This relationship between resilience and the components of competence perception, control perception, acceptance of change, tolerance of negative emotion and spiritual perception with intensity of perceived pain was negative and significant (P<0.05). Therefore, by providing psychological services in addition to common medical interventions, it is possible to improve the resilience and functional ability of clients suffering from chronic pain, thus reducing the financial and psychological burden of these clients.
