Abstract :
Due to study the effect of planting density and nitrogen levels on agronomic traits and rice yield in Faridunkanar salinity field a field experiment was conducted at Faridunknar in 2021. The experiment was conducted as a factorial split plot based on completely block design with three replications. The nitrogen levels in 3 levels 69, 92, 115 kg N/ha urea fertilizer as the main factor, two mutant lines, 2212 and 2310, and planting density in three levels of 25×25, 13×30, and 20×20 cm2 as a subplot. Soil salinity and irrigation water during the growth period of rice plant was 4-8.3 and 1.5-2.2 dS/m, respectively. The results showed that the triple interaction effect of nitrogen × planting density × line, It was significant on the agricultural traits, hill panicle number, panicle length, filled and total grains in panicle, and yield at probability level of 1% and on trait of weight of 1000 grains at probability level of 5%. The highest number of panicle hill was related to the treatment combination of 115 kg N consumption at planting density of 25 × 25 cm for line 2310 (20.25). Highest yield equal to 5065.3 kg/ha was related to treatment line 2212 in planting density of 25 × 25 and consumption of 115 kg N/ h and lowest yield equal to 2615.1 kg /ha was related to line 2212 in planting density of 13 × 30 and consumption of 69 kg N/ha. Therefore, for both lines 2212 and 2310, it is recommended to use 115 kg N/ha in three times with a planting density of 25 × 25 cm.
