Abstract :
Introduction: Artificial intelligence training as a new technology in new educational systems can help improve students' sustainable learning skills. This research has investigated the effect of artificial intelligence education on various components of sustainable learning in 7-12 year old students.
Methods: This study was conducted in a semi-experimental way using pre-test and post-test. The statistical population included students from 7 to 12 years of age in an urban area in Tehran, who were randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. The experimental group was trained in artificial intelligence and the control group received regular training. The data collection tool was the sustainable learning questionnaire, whose validity and reliability have been confirmed.
Findings: The results of statistical analysis showed that the average post-test scores of the experimental group in all components of sustainable learning were significantly higher than the control group. Specifically, the components of goal setting, learning environment control, time management, help seeking, self-evaluation, and motivational regulation were significantly improved in the experimental group.
Discussion: The findings of this research show that artificial intelligence training can be used as an effective tool in improving students' sustainable learning skills. These results are consistent with previous studies and indicate the importance of using new technologies in educational systems.
Conclusion: The use of artificial intelligence in education can improve students' sustainable learning skills. It is suggested that educational systems use this technology more widely to increase the quality of education and the academic motivation of students.
