Abstract :
This article explores the integration of Immanuel Kant’s moral and rational principles with Karl Marx’s social and economic analyses, known as "Kantian Marxism." Unlike traditional Marxism, which emphasizes material and historical transformations, Kantian Marxism gives special attention to the role of morality, rationality, and consciousness in social change. This approach argues that social and economic changes can be achieved not only through material changes but also through the enhancement of individuals' awareness and moral responsibility. By examining the fundamental principles of Kant's philosophy and its impact on Marxism, the article analyzes the role of morality and rationality in the critique of social and economic systems. Moreover, the differences between Kantian Marxism and other Marxist currents, particularly Spinozist Marxism and Leninist Marxism, are discussed. Ultimately, the article demonstrates that Kantian Marxism, with its emphasis on morality and freedom, can provide a comprehensive and effective framework for critiquing unjust social and economic systems and serve as a useful tool for guiding social change towards justice and freedom.
