The Formulation model of empowering elements for Iraqian educational sports managers

Abstract :
This research was carried out with the aim of providing a suitable model for the empowering elements of Iraqi educational sports sector managers. The current research is an exploratory research in terms of its purpose and a fundamental research in terms of its orientation, which has used the foundational data theory strategy with the paradigmatic (systematic) approach of Strauss and Corbin. To collect research data, 23 in-depth and semi-structured interviews were used with sports management experts in universities, managers of Iraq's educational sports department and researchers in the field of occupational empowerment of the participants. The participants in the research were selected by purposeful and theoretical sampling. The analysis of the data obtained from the interviews was done during three stages of open, central and selective coding and simultaneously with the data collection, by Nvivo12 software. Concepts, categories, and propositions related to this model emerged based on three stages of coding, respectively. The results showed the number of 30 categories in the form of six dimensions of the paradigm model, including causal conditions, the main phenomenon (special approach to empowering Iraqi educational sports managers), strategies, intervening conditions, background conditions and consequences formed the model of empowerment of Iraqi educational sports managers. The integration of categories based on the relationships between them around the empowerment of Iraq's educational sports managers forms a paradigm model derived from qualitative research. Using this model in the field of educational sports can lead to the professional and psychological empowerment of managers.
