Content analysis of second grade Persian textbook based on resilience components

Abstract :
Resilience training in educational environments makes them highly successful in school and other life situations despite the problems and injuries that threaten them. The early period of life is essential and textbooks can be one of the main sources of reflection of these teachings. In this regard, the purpose of the present study is to investigate the amount of attention paid to the components of resilience in the second elementary Persian textbook written by a new author. . Based on this, the statistical population of the research includes the second Persian book of the elementary school, where each book includes reading and writing. In the current research, each of the sections such as lesson title, lesson text, figures, maps, class activities, questions and discussions in class are considered as examples of research. Also, due to the limitation of the statistical population, census was used instead of sampling and the sample and the society is considered the same. The results of the content analysis showed that the amount of attention paid to the components of resilience from the highest amount of attention to the lowest amount of attention are: restraint and spirituality, personal strength, trust in personal instincts, acceptance of positive emotions, tolerance of negative emotions .
