A comparative Analysis of the Role of Religion in the Social Cohesion of the Achaemenid Government Based on Emile Durkheim's Social Theory

Abstract :
By applying the theories of people like Durkheim in different fields such as social solidarity with the help of tangible and intangible heritage and specifically in this article with the help of religion, we can understand how modern sociological theories can help to analyze and interpret historical and ancient phenomena and vice versa. The purpose of this article is to contribute to a deeper understanding of the influence of religion on social structure and the links between religion, power and social solidarity in ancient governments, as well as to reveal the applicability and applicability of Durkheim's theory in the religious and social context of the Achaemenid era. At the first glance, the question arises as to how religion played a role in creating and strengthening social solidarity during the Achaemenid period. This research was done with analytical-descriptive method. The result of this research is that according to the evidence that he saw around him, Durkheim presented a theory that, although it can be criticized in some ways, but for the theory that he presented, there have always been examples around us that we sometimes do not notice. One of these examples is the role of The existence of different religions is to create social solidarity in different governments.
