Abstract :
Public spaces in cities are the center of most behavioral disorders and have been unable to provide appropriate contexts for organizing the needs and normative and behavioral patterns of their audiences. Designing an effective behavior management strategy is one of the most important needs of urban planning and management for such spaces. This study, by identifying suitable urban spaces in the fifth district of Tehran Municipality, with suggestions for organizing and improving environmental qualities, seeks an important role in this area . The research method in the current research is practical in terms of its purpose and in terms of its nature, it is a combination of descriptive-analytical method. Finally, logical reasoning has been used. The method of data collection is library and observation, and according to the need, the field collection method has also been used. After examining and identifying the public spaces in the study area and assessing the situation, strategies were prioritized and refined with the help of the SWOT method , QSPM was explained. On the other hand, the destruction of public urban areas located in this area has caused the formation of a disjointed and placeless space. In this area, traffic problems and unrest due to the lack of elasticity of these spaces are among the major problems of urban spaces. Therefore, the priorities of the intervention in this area imply improving the attractiveness of the place and improving access, which were proposed based on appropriate solutions. Finally, six intervention approaches were identified, which were derived from studies and prioritization with the help of internal and external matrices. Limited urban spaces were also studied in four categories: ) Service spaces (service centers in different functional scales such as neighborhood centers, shopping spaces, etc.) c) leisure spaces (green spaces, recreational spaces) d) religious spaces (shrines, pillars, mosques, etc.) Divisions and case studies of each were explained.
