Abstract :
The present study was conducted with the aim of the effectiveness of therapeutic life on psychological well-being and enthusiasm for work in nurses of Shahid Beheshti Hospital in Babol city. The research method was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with control and experimental groups. The statistical population of this research was all the nurses working in Shahid Beheshti Hospital of Babol. 30 emergency department nurses were selected purposefully and then were randomly selected into two groups of 15 people as the experimental group and the control group. Then, a pre-test was conducted for both groups through psychological well-being scale and work enthusiasm questionnaire. Then, the experimental group received the educational package of life therapy in eight 90-minute sessions as a group. Then the questionnaires were again distributed and scored between the two groups for post-test. The pre-test scores were compared with the post-test scores for each person in the research group with statistical methods and covariance analysis tests using SPSS software. The results showed that life therapy is effective on psychological well-being (P<0.05) and enthusiasm for work (P<0.05) in the nurses of Shahid Beheshti Hospital in Babol city.
