Abstract :
Objective: This research aims to elucidate a cultural preparation framework for sports champions as social role models using a data mining approach. In this regard, data-driven technologies were employed to identify the factors influencing the sports industry and championship sports, in order to assess the stages of preparation for teams or champion players, maintaining and enhancing cultural sports values, and the social impacts of sports role models.
Methodology: The research is qualitative, involving exploratory and analytical investigation in the fields of sports and data-driven technologies. After identifying the influential factors, a framework was provided for the stages of preparation and modeling of champions and stakeholders using data mining, considering social correlations. This framework was reviewed and revised by 30 experts in artificial intelligence, data science, and sports through focus group discussions. The sampling was purposeful, with 15 participants involved in the study.
Findings: Nine influential and relevant factors related to championship sports in the country were identified using a data mining approach. Four main stages in the preparation and modeling of sports champions were presented: identification and selection, pre-competition preparation, performance during competition, and post-competition analysis.
Conclusion: This framework assists sports managers in leveraging data mining to select and implement appropriate managerial strategies for preparing sports champions as social role models.
