Abstract :

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of physical activity on the variables of self-control, responsibility, escape and avoidance and to solve the managerial problem of the Baghdad police force. The current research was a descriptive type of correlation, which was carried out by the field method. The statistical population of the present study included all the employees of the operational police department of Baghdad city, which is estimated to be 9 thousand people. According to Karjesi and Morgan's table, 380 people were selected as a statistical sample from the police staff of Baghdad and by simple random method. The tools of data collection were two physical activity questionnaires by Sharkey and coping strategies by Lazarus and Folkman (1998). For data analysis, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression and structural equations were used using PLS and SPSS software. The results indicated that there is a positive and significant relationship between physical activity and self-control of Baghdad police officers. Also, there is a positive and significant relationship between physical activity and accountability of the Baghdad police staff. Also, there is a negative and significant relationship between physical activity and evasion and avoidance of Baghdad police personnel. Also, there is a positive and significant relationship between physical activity and the management of the Baghdad police staff problem . Also, the results of multiple regression showed that 3.6% of self-control, 5.5% of responsibility, 5.6% of avoidance and 7.7% of managerial problem solving are explained by physical activity.
