Abstract :
One of the important issues raised by the concept of a child-friendly city in a world that is moving towards urbanization day by day is realizing children's rights and recognizing their place in the city. On the other hand, a category called separatism has left its impact on cities more colorful than before, and spatial and environmental poverty as well as ethnic, racial, religious, economic and cultural differences have fueled this issue. The subject of this research is the application of child-friendly city indicators in the design of the neighborhood in order to eliminate segregation, which was studied in the western neighborhood of Sheikh Tosi, District 10 of Isfahan Municipality. The main goal of this research is to use child-friendly city indicators to design the urban space in the West Sheikh Tusi neighborhood in order to eliminate segregation. In order to achieve this goal, the concepts of child-friendly city and segregation were investigated and their main indicators were extracted and their relationship and interaction with each other was measured. The method of this research is quantitative-qualitative, and therefore a theoretical framework has been prepared that briefly shows the relationship between these concepts. By using Z score, Moran's index and hotspot analysis, three variables of education, health and unemployment were analyzed at the district and neighborhood levels. Cognitive information related to the neighborhood has been collected from the documents and resources available in Isfahan City Planning and Architecture Vice-Chancellor and Isfahan District Municipality.
