Abstract :
With the beginning of the era of Islamic conquests, a new chapter was opened in the historical geography of Iran. Conquests started in 16 A.H and on the way to penetrate to the east, reached the strategic points like: Ray, Qomis and Khorasan around 22 A.H. The outstanding consequence of this event was the geographical connection of the central regions with the center of the Islamic world and the acceleration of social Islamization and cultural assimilation with a new but tradition-oriented identity. This research, using the descriptive-analytical method, aims to answer the question: "What conditions and results was the process of conquest and conversion to Islam in Damghan?" The result of the study indicates the hypothesis that Qomis province and its Damghan throne, due to the aspect of strategic, civilizational background and population pluralism, witnessed the maximum presence of the society in the transition from the old order to absorption in the Islamic pluralistic society and the process of Islamization. , has led to important political, economic and social achievements in Qomis and Damghan. Such results have not had any effect on the continuation of Damghan's prestigious position and its role in the developments of the history of Islamic Iran.
