Religious tourism model in Mehran international border, analyzes and strategies

Abstract :
Tourism has an important place in the economy of different countries and is one of the most important income-generating industries in the world today, and tourism can be used as one of the main tools to solve the problems caused by unemployment and recession. Used in various countries, a large number of tourists in the world are religious tourists, most of whom are tourists to the international border of Mehran in terms of safety and proximity to the holy shrines in Iraq, to enter and leave Iran for pilgrimage. And choose their religious affairsThe purpose of this study is to design and explain the model of religious tourism in the international border of Mehran, which is research method used in exploratory exploration. To extract the conceptual model of research, theories, models and various researches related to religious tourism were studied. To determine the sample size in qualitative method using the snowball method, 18 experts on the subject of religious tourism and in the quantitative method, after distributing the researcher-made questionnaire, 384 questionnaires analyzed and evaluated. Showed that the model of religious tourism in the international border Mehran has 6 main components including causal conditions, categories, contexts, intervening factors, strategies, consequences and results that according to experts, this model can be used as a suitable model for tourism. Introduced a religion on the international border of Mehran.
