Abstract :

The issue of gender reassignment as an emerging medical phenomenon has raised many questions, whether with the advancement of medical knowledge and surgical technology it has become possible to change the gender of people from female to male and vice versa, and this is not only the case for patients such as hermaphroditism. Bisexuals) is done, but it can also be done for healthy people. In other words, Hanafi and Imami jurists agree on the issue of permissibility for transgender people to change their gender, but it is necessary to pay attention to this point. He must be financially and physically able to change his gender. Of course, the issue of "neutral" or "bisexual" people is not a new phenomenon, because from the past until now, people have always been Neutrality or sexual dysfunction have lived in human societies. Accordingly, in religious traditions and Islamic jurisprudence, the jurisprudential status of such individuals has also been discussed. Gender reassignment is also possible for healthy people.
