Making the scale of internationalization of universities

Abstract :

The purpose of this study is to build a scale for internationalization of universities. The research method was descriptive survey and the statistical population included all faculty members of Islamic Azad University of Mahallat Branch. 112 samples were selected based on available sampling method. After reviewing the research background and theoretical foundations, a list of internationalization components of universities was selected and statistical samples were provided to determine the validity and reliability. The results of data analysis using Factor Analysis Technique indicate that the scale of internationalization of universities with 8 dimensions (International Outlook, International Policy, Modern Information Technology, International Curriculum, Scientific Collaboration And international research, international academic rankings, knowledge-based economics, international educational services, integration with international educational standards). The constructed scale has a content validity and construct validity of 0.49, and a total of 78.78 out of the variance of internationalization of universities.Keywords:Internationalization of universities, measurements, scale making
