Abstract The aim of this research is the study of measure influence of sociologic and psychological factors upon success or fall of national sports teams of Iran in international fields. The population of this research, that in 2004 has been financed by Azad University of Roudehen, include the members of national sports teams of Iran. Those teams were chosen that have been most experience in international fields. The sample size of this research is 112 sports man and the measurement instrument for collect information in this research is questionnaire. In this research is used the method purposive sampling that is a non-probability sampling and formal-validity for the validity. The findings of this research have measured by descriptive tables and statistics tests by SPSS. The independent variable is the sociologic and psychological factors. The dependent variable is the success or fall of national sports teams of Iran in international fields. The control variables are body, nourishment and technical factors. The findings of this research emphasis that the sociologic and psychological factors play a significant role by success or fall of national sports teams of Iran in international fields. This does not want to deny the role of other factors as technical, body and nourishment by success or fall of sportsmen
