Abstract :
Cancer is an uncontrollable cell growth. Breast cancer is a kind of cancers that itr main approach of treatment is chemotherapy with side effects. Today, the use of natural ingredients, such as chalcones, is used to treat cancer. We aimed to induce apoptosis with nitrochalcone drugs in breast cancer cells of 4 t1 and on BALB/c mice. Drug toxicity was measured by MTT assay at 24 and 48 h and at concentrations of 20, 30, 40, 50 μM. Hematoxylin-azine was evaluated after treatment of tumor mice. Then, significant results were analyzed using SPSS and ANOVA. The results of MTT assay showed nitrocellulose 50% drug toxicity at 24 h at all concentrations. Apoptosis was also observed in the histological examination. Therefore, nitrochalcone drugs can be a good way to treat breast cancer.
