The Impact of Sabzevari's Reformist Thought on the Social Behavior of Safavid Sultans

Abstract :

Review : With the advent of the Safavid dynasty, new pages were opened in the history of political thought and the way of governing the Iranians, relying on Islamic law and especially Shiite political jurisprudence. The Safavid sultans, in their quest for legitimacy and adherence to rational and deep-rooted rules related to revelation and religious texts, turned to Shiite scholars in order to govern the country. The political and social administration of the vast and newly independent country of Iran, embracing the theory of the province and the supervision of the jurist on the monarchy. The importance of this issue goes back to the fact that the rise and fall of any civilization is the result of dense, reproductive and degenerative mechanisms formed in the social and political system of its constituent societies. In these circumstances, Sabzevari researcher strengthened and stabilized the social behavior of Safavid sultans by reforming the reformist thought. This research is organized by descriptive method in the analysis of historical phenomena and based on library resources.
