Abstract :
The purpose of this article is to review the methodology of the book "Qadaya Uloom al-Ensaniyyah; Eshkaliyato Al-Manhaj" (Issues of Humanities; Challenge of Methodology) with emphasis on methodology and epistemology of the theory of modern Islamic civilization. This book was published in 2014 under the supervision of Dr. Yousef Zidan and contains an introduction and eight articles about research methodology in some fields of humanities. The method of collecting and analyzing information in this article is an argument that after the general extraction of the content of the articles, the most important problems of the epistemology of the specific articles and the outstanding statement of the methodology of each article have been criticized with reference to the relevant sources. The main question: in terms of methodology and epistemology, what criticisms can be made on the content of the book with emphasis on the theory of modern Islamic civilization? Results: The results obtained in this article show that the design and development of the methodology of human sciences and the examination of its various aspects in the Islamic discourse is the introduction to the design and development of the theory of modern Islamic civilization.
