Abstract :
The martyrdom of General Hajj Qassem Soleimani, the late commander of the Quds Force, by the United States of America, has very prominent effects in the domestic, regional and international arenas for the Islamic Republic, the Islamic Resistance Front and the Islamic world. This issue is investigated and studied from various military, political, social, cultural, legal, regional and international aspects. The present study examines the effects of the Quds Force commander's martyrdom on the writing and promotion of the soft power of the Islamic Republic of Iran. As time passes, the proud martyrdom of this mujahid commander and the upbringing of the school of the Islamic Revolution and Imam Khomeini (RA) show their increasing effects in stabilizing and expanding the power of resistance against the front of tyranny and arrogance. Based on this, the main question of the current research is "what effects did the martyrdom of General Hajj Qassem Soleimani have on the soft power of the Islamic Republic of Iran?" What is obtained from the examination of these effects is that the testimony of the commander of the Quds Force from the point of view of proving and showing the legitimacy of the political system; Expanding political and religious values, especially the prominent value of martyrdom; strengthening and expanding cohesion and social capital in Iranian society; And finally, the approval and strengthening of the regional and international foreign policy of the Islamic Republic has strengthened the soft power of the Islamic system.
