Abstract :
What is ideal life? How can it be achieved in this world and lead to salvation? Persian poets and mystics, leaning on Quran and the prophet’s tradition (Hadith), have tried to answer theses questions. The present article, based on Hāfez Shirazi’s ideas, explores the concepts of ideal man and ideal life in Persian literature.
