The Moderation Role of Islamic Work Ethics in Explaining the Relationship Between Employee Creativity and Entrepreneurial Behavior

Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of creativity in predicting entrepreneurial behavior and the direct and moderating effects of religious work ethics in this regard.This is an applied and descriptive-exploratory study and has been performed by survey method. The statistical population of this study consisted of all employees (Municipality, National Gas Company, Telecommunication Office and Water Company) in Semnan province. For this purpose, a sample of 189 Employees was selected using the random classification method based on the rules of sample size in structural equation modeling and the data was collected through a 40-question questionnaire. Its validity has been confirmed by convergent and divergent method and its reliability has been confirmed. Smart-PLS software was used for data analysis.Findings show that Creative ability and Islamic Work Ethics is positively related to entrepreneurial behaviorCreativity and Islamic ethics have a positive and meaningful relationship with entrepreneurial behavior. In this regard, people with Islamic ethics are more inclined towards creative skills and have a positive effect on entrepreneurial behavior.
