Abstract :
This research is base on the last annual statistics published by education (and training) ministry and studies the situation of school libraries, books and librarians in Iran. the results show 15 million students, 1 million teachers and employee are engaged in education system. There are 145241 schools in Iran which only 22118ones have library. We found that 75/6% of town school and 92/7% of rural schools have any library. The reviews show the collections are unsufficient and unfited to the students needs.
