Social Trust section lost the effect of Religiosity on Social Participation of the Pardisan Citizens in region of Qom.

Abstract :

Introduction :Increasing social participation and the need to pay for it is one of the main issues of our country in the last decade, which affects the biosocial quality of citizens. The influence of various religious, devotional, moral, emotional and cognitive factors of religiosity have been able to affect trust and social participation.The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of religiosity mediated by social trust on social participation of citizens of Pardisan region of Qom.Method: This research has been done with a deductive and explanatory approach in a survey method and using a questionnaire. The statistical population of this study included all urban households in Pardisan, Qom. The sampling method of this research was multi-stage cluster sampling among 384 urban households and the data of the questionnaires were analyzed in SPSS 24 and AMOS 24 statistical software.Results: The direct paths of the effects of religiosity on social participation are 0.22, on social trust is 0.25 and social trust on social participation is 0.29, the effect of religiosity through the mediating variable of social trust on social participation is 0.345, has been evaluated and the confirmatory factor analysis index, ie the critical ratio, is greater than +1.96. And the results of the goodness-of-fit indicators of the structural equation model are all acceptable.Discussion and Conclusion: The results of structural equation modeling showed that religiosity is effective on social participation and social trust. It also affects social participation through the mediator variable of social trust.
