Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to compare irrational beliefs, self-control and excitement in men and women treated with methadone (stimuli). For this purpose, 100 people with addicted methadone (males and females) Available selections. Jones's irrational beliefs questionnaire for assessing irrational beliefs, Tangy's self-control questionnaire for measuring self-control variable and Zuckerman's excitement scale for excitement measurement. SPSS-21 software was used to analyze the statistical data. The results showed that there is a difference between the irrational beliefs of women and men treated with methadone and in women treated with methadone, irrational beliefs need to be confirmed by others, there is a tendency to blame and dependence more than men, and in methadone treated men, perfectionism There are more irrational women than women. There is also a difference between the self-control variable in these two groups. The difference is that self-control in women undergoing methadone treatment is more than that of men. In the last review of the research hypothesis, the excitement comparison, it was also found that there are significant differences between the two sexes in this variable. The results show that escape from inhibition and adventure in men treated with methadone is more than that of women, and the morbidity of women treated with methadone is higher than that of men. There is a difference between men and women treated with methadone (stimuli) in terms of irrational beliefs, self-control and excitement. Therefore, researchers, researchers and therapists need to pay attention to the gender differences in women and men treated with methadone.
