Abstract :

Introduction: Urban public spaces should be spaces that are full of glory, vibrancy and stimulating for residents, the issue of reducing crime in the living environment and urban public spaces and keeping community members safe from dangers, pollutions and abnormalities is one of the effective factors in sustainability. It is social. Research aim: In this article, first, the main principles and patterns considered in the design of urban public spaces and the impact of urban public spaces in reducing crime, then the analysis of the neighborhood posht shahr of Bandar Abbas is discussed. After studying the types of crimes in this neighborhood, four effective principles in the prevention of crime through urban planning, which include monitoring, controlling entrances, strengthening the sense of territory and protecting crimes, provide practical and suitable solutions according to the conditions of the sample under study. has been Methodology: In terms of the applied-developmental goal and the research method, the current research is a descriptive-analytical method that analyzes content by relying on library documentation and field impressions. Studied Areas: The geographical area of this research is posht shahr neighborhood in the central part of Bandar Abbas city. Results: In order to achieve the objectives of the research (location), four main criteria and nine selected sub-criteria of extraction, which were used to weight the indicators from the ANP1 model, finally, two suitable sites were selected for the location of the urban public space in the neighborhood posht shahr. The desirability of the three sites for the construction of urban public spaces in Pasht Shahr neighborhood is selected and the results are presented after determining the ranking of the sites, which site 2 (with a score of 414.00), site 1 (with a score of 3313.00) is favorable. The most sites for the construction of urban public spaces are in this neighborhood. Conclusion: In this research, inspired by theories, research and case studies, it identifies the factors that lead people to these places. And by creating such spaces, crime and delinquency will also decrease
