Assessment the role of Local Managers in the Social and Economic Development of Rural Settlements in Natanz County

Abstract :
What will represent the development of the village is the socio-economic status of the village, considering the importance of the role of the village councils in all structural and management sectors of rural areas in recent years, improving the socio-economic status is one of the important tasks of the village councils in the villages, which indicates the performance of each village council. The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the role of Islamic councils and rural village councils in social and economic development. Research method (data collection techniques): In general, this study is a descriptive (non-experimental) study that aims to evaluate the role of Islamic councils and rural village councils in social and economic development. In fact, the method used in this study is a descriptive-analytical method. The statistical population under study includes the household population of the villages of Natanz city, numbering 5200 people. The sample size is based on available randomness and is 358 people based on the Cochran formula. A 32-question questionnaire was used to collect data, and Smart PLS software and structural equation analysis were used to analyze the data. The results indicate that, in general, the activities of village councils and village committees can have an impact on the development of villages, especially in the economic and social fields, which can be used in the follow-up of the establishment of the required facilities and infrastructure in the village, as well as the optimal use of the village's appropriate capacities in creating employment and income.
