Abstract :
Abstract: The present paper studies the application of the constructive interaction as the main doctrine of foreign policy of Islamic Republic of Iran in 2025 vision document in the period of 2005-2009. After the statement of the problem and explaining the importance of it, the micro and macro level theories of decision making are considered for solving the problem. The paper chooses Snyder's decision making theoretical framework and present its hypothesis in this framework. The method of data gathering is documentary and library materials and for evaluating and testing the hypothesis, the narrative method is used. The finding of the study shows that the non-fulfillment of the constructive interaction doctrine mentioned in 2025 vision document is due to main actor level (president) and within three determinants of him, namely: ability, communication, information and motivation.
