  A new and efficient synthesis of 2-amino-4H-chromene derivativeswhich have remarkable pharmacological properties is developed by one-pot three-component efficient reaction between aldehydes, malononitrile, andα or β-naphthol in MeOH as solvent using DABCO-CuCl complex as an effective catalyst at room temperature. The structures of synthesized compounds were characterized by techniques of IR,1H-NMR, Mass and elemental analysis. This method provides an efficient improved pathway for the synthesis of chromenes in the terms of excellent yields, short reaction times and reusability catalyst. تفاصيل المقالة

  An efficient three-component one-pot synthesis of 1-amidoalkyl-2-naphthols from 2-naphthol, aldehydes, and acetamide using nano-SnO2as catalyst is described. The reactions were carried out at 80oC under water-solvent media. The structures of the compounds were characterized by IR, 1HNMR, 13C-NMR, and Mass spectra and by elemental analysis. The advantages of the effective method were good yields, short reaction times, simple work-up, eco-friendly solvent, and inexpensive and reusable catalyst. The catalyst could be recycled and reused for five times without much loss in its activity. تفاصيل المقالة
